So easy to book!

Booking my Edinburgh Castle Tickets was a breeze! The site was super easy to use and I got my e-tickets right away. No fuss at all, and it saved me from queuing up when I got there. Definitely recommend this site!

Great value on BritRail

I was looking for the best deal on train travel and found the BritRail England Pass here. The price was really good compared to buying individual tickets. I got the 4-day pass, saved me a bunch of money on my trip from London to Manchester. Worth it!

Good experience overall

I ordered the London Pass for my trip, which included entry to a few attractions. The website was pretty straightforward for ordering, no real issues there. I opted for the digital pass, which arrived in my email almost instantly. Using it at the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey was seamless; just scanned my phone. I did have a question about activating it with a travelcard option, so I used their online chat. The agent was helpful, though it took a few minutes to get a response. Everything worked out fine, saved us some time not having to buy individual tickets on site. The quality of the attractions themselves was obviously great, and the pass made it easy to navigate.

Is VisitBritain an official site? Just want to make sure I'm not buying from some sketchy reseller.

T Tom Whitfield 2 months ago
Yep, totally official. It's the British Tourist Authority's shop. Safe to buy from.

It's the real deal, don't worry. Been using them for years for UK trips, never had an issue.

How long does it usually take for tickets to arrive if I order them for something like the Heathrow Express? I'm flying out next month.

I Ivy 2 months ago
Heathrow Express tickets are usually e-tickets, so you get them pretty much instantly via email. No waiting for physical mail.

Yeah, for those express train tickets, they just email them to you. You can print them or use them on your phone.

Thinking of booking a BritRail Pass. I live in the UK, can I actually buy one of those?

W Wendy Foster 2 months ago
Nah, I don't think so. BritRail passes are usually for people who live outside the UK. I looked into it once and that's what I found.

J Jared Whitfield 2 months ago
Pretty sure those are only for non-UK residents. It's kinda designed for tourists to make train travel easier, not for locals.

Does VisitBritain ship the Visitor Oyster Card to the US? Or do I have to pick it up when I get there?

C Chris 2 months ago
Yeah, they ship it. Got mine sent to New York before my trip. Was super convenient.

They totally ship internationally. Saves you time when you land, just load it up and go.

Thinking about getting a BritRail England Pass. How does it compare to just buying tickets on Trainline for each journey?

W Wendy 1 month ago
BritRail Pass can be great if you're doing a lot of long train journeys around England in a short period. It can be cheaper than buying individual tickets, especially if you're flexible with your travel dates.

If you know exactly which trains you're taking and book super far in advance, Trainline might be cheaper sometimes. But for spontaneity or lots of trips, the BritRail pass usually wins out on value and convenience. No faffing with multiple tickets.
